Hey Guys/Girls/Queers or however you identify/choose not to identify-ers,

We will be having our meeting tomorrow evening at our normal time (8:30pm) in the normal room (246 Hopkins Hall). In the meeting we will be finishing up the Our Stories/MCC Storybox/History of HRC interviews and story-telling. Remember if you don’t want to be on camera then there are other ways of contributing.

We have talked previously, as a group, about HRC doing community service and so before we start with the stories, I would like to discuss a great community service project. I will inform everyone about Equality Ohio’s community service project (CAUSE) and hopefully get you all pumped to get HRC started in its initiative ASAP.

Special announcement: Amnesty International will be hosting a Human Rights Conference on Saturday, February 28th, from 10 am to 3 pm. Those who attend will choose two of four workshops to go to that center around Human Rights violations going on today. They will also have a session on Human Trafficking with experts on the subject and their keynote speaker is a Democratic Republic of Congo native speaking on behalf of Friends of the Congo. The Conference will be held on the first floor of Mendenhall Lab at The Ohio State University. Attendance is free and lunch will be provided. Although coming for the entire Conference is encouraged, everyone is free to come for the times they are available. This event is open to everyone including nonstudents.
