Hello everyone!

I just wanted to remind you all that there is a meeting this Tuesday, February 10th, at the usual time and place (8:30 PM, Hopkins 246).  This meeting will focus on the StoryBox Project and Our Stories initiative.  We will provide various resources through which people may record their stories for these programs.  For example, we will bring a video camera so that those who wish to do so may record videos, after which point we will work in conjunction with the Multicultural Center and Our Stories to turn these into a finished product.  The theme for the StoryBox Project for this year is "Transformation - What's Your Story?", to help give some area of focus to these stories.

I would like to stress that there are multiple ways by which someone may contribute to these projects.  If you do not feel comfortable about appearing with a camera, that's fine - there are other ways, including, for example, contributing an anonymous story.  If you wish to know more information about the StoryBox Project, one may read more information on the Multicultural Center's website.  More information about the Our Stories project can be seen at http://ftad.osu.edu/OurStories.  In addition, we will begin our meeting tomorrow with a general overview of both projects, as well as HRC@OSU's part in these activities, in case people have questions.

Also, this Friday, February 13th, Ohio State is hosting Fusion Friday at the Kuhn Honors and Scholars House from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.   I've attended several of these in the past and have always had a good time.  For more information, one may view the associated Facebook event.

Finally, there are just a few minor issues I would like to address.  In case you have not picked up your shirt yet, you may pick them up at this upcoming meeting.  Please remember to bring the $9.00 for your shirt.  Additionally, if you have been receiving multiple instances of the same email, I would request that you forward these instances to me (at stock.56@osu.edu) so that we may take steps to prevent such occurrences in the future.
