Hello, I hope that all of you are keeping warm on this freezing cold and snowy day!

1. As some of you may already know, but for those of you who do not, Due to weather conditions across the state (IT'S GOING TO SNOW A LOT!!), Saturday's Statewide Rally for EQUALITY has been RESCHEDULED for Saturday January 31st at 1:30 [it will still be occurring in Columbus at the Statehouse]. So we will not be meeting at the SOURCE tomorrow!

2.      I have received the following information from Elizabeth Warren (AMAZING WOMAN!!!!) about a program and she wanted me to forward it to all of you wonderful people. If anyone is interested then you need to EMAIL ELIZABETH WARREN ASAP, SHE NEEDS TO KNOW BY MONDAY, JANUARY 12TH!!!! DETAILS:                                                                                                                                                                                                        There is a new program which focuses on working against discrimination and creating tolerance.  Sarah B. Grinstein has been given an amazing opportunity to lead a group of students in developing and planning social justice programming. The way the program, No Place For Hate, works is: 
·           We come together as a working, diverse committee (min 12 of us)
·           Get an advanced sensitivity training from a national expert
·           Plan up to 8 programs over Winter and Spring Quarter.
·           Our first meeting will be on January 28 at 6:30pm at OSU Hillel.  We will receive  anti-defamation league training.

3. Thursday, January 15 from 12:00-1:30pm at the RPAC Dave Griner Room  BART (Bias Assesment and Response team will be holding an Information Session. This will give you a chance to learn about the Bias Response Resources and what to do when a situation occurs on campus. 4. The website has been updated!!! There is a new link which will take you to pictures of HRC in action, listed under the links tab. Check out the minutes tab and refresh your memory about last meeting and discussed topics including Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, or if you missed the meeting, see what you missed! We are also in the process of adding a new page to the website all about accomplished goals and current initiatives, so be on the lookout for that as well.

5. The t-shirts have been ordered and will cost $9.00 per shirt. Money will be collected next meeting, currently scheduled for 1/20/09.
