Hello everyone!

First off, a reminder that we are having our weekly meeting this Tuesday, May 19th in Hopkins Hall 246.  We will be hosting a gender discussion panel which aims to discuss the issues that FTM, MTF and Genderqueer people face.  I think it will be very interesting and I hope you all will attend!

However, that is not the only event happening this week.  At 6:30 this Tuesday in the Multicultural Center, there will be a group filming for a visibility video organized through the MCC.  It focuses around the concept of identity (most particularly oriented around the sentence "I am _______."), and all of you are welcome to participate.

Later this week is Rainbow Graduation, which is on Wednesday and starts at 6 PM in the Longaberger Alumni House.  This event will recognize those GLBTQ students who are graduating, commemorate leaders of the GLBTQ student organizations, and recognize the recipients of the GLBT Alumni Society scholarships.

Additionally, OUAB is hosting the 4th annual Diva-licious Drag Show, this Thursday night, at 7:30 PM in Hitchcock 131.  It looks like it will be a good time and if you want to participate, you can email OSUDragShow@gmail.com.  There is even a prize for the best volunteer act!  For more information, you can view the Facebook event page:

Also, HRC Columbus is holding their annual gala dinner in a little less than a month - on June 13th at the Hyatt Regency Columbus.  If you are interested in attending (there are discounted student tickets available) or volunteering for it, you can read more about it at http://www.hrccolumbusdinner.com/.  They are also looking for volunteers for Columbus Pride, and so you can contact me if you are looking for more information!
