If you cannot attend For the Bible Tells Me So, then you should attend Short North Idol! Tonight (Thursday – 4/16/2009) from 8:00pm - 11:00pm at the Havana Video Lounge (862 N. High Street). Why? Because it is a fundraiser for Equality Ohio, which is working very hard to help HRC@OSU and The Equality Coalition to get the Equal Housing and Employment Act passed. You will be contributing to a great cause and it will benefit all of us in the long run. Short North Idol is a 'one night only' karaoke event. Each contestant performs one number, then four judges will score performances. In addition, YOU can vote by donating $1 (all proceeds go to Equality Ohio). Guests may vote as much as they like. The judge’s score will count as 70% of the final score and 30% will be determined by the amount of dollar votes received. Once tallied, the amount of dollar votes will be donated to Equality Ohio!
