As some of you know, but for those of you who do not, Friday April 17th 2009 is National Day of Silence. The National Day of Silence was invented to bring attention to anti-LGBTQ name-calling, bullying, hate crimes and harassment in schools. Each year the event has grown, now with hundreds of thousands of students coming together to encourage schools and classmates to address the problem of anti-LGBT behavior. The Human Rights Campaign at OSU has decided to make a silent short film to help further the National Day of Silence cause (with an improved plot) and so we are looking for volunteer actors to be a part of the short film. We will need people to serve as extras as well as potential main characters, (you can decide which you would like to be.) We will start filming the National Day of Silence short film tomorrow (Saturday, April 4th) on the Oval at 2:00pm. Feel free to invite all of your friends and anyone else who might want to help. See you all tomorrow!!!!
