Hello everyone!

I hope you're all getting settled back into the college routine and that you're ready to continue working with HRC@OSU!  However, there will be no general meeting on March 31st.  We will have our first regular meeting of the quarter next week.

However, there are a couple of important announcements to make.

The first is that we will be holding elections for the 2009-2010 year on our April 14th meeting.  The elected positions are the Chairs, Treasurer, and Secretary.  If you are interested in running for one of these positions, or want to know more about being an officer, contact one of the members of the E-board.  The deadline for announcing one's candidacy is during the April 7th meeting.

Another issue that will be brought to the ballot this election is proposed amendments to the constitution and by-laws.  In general, the language of both has been rewritten to be more inclusive, and certain procedures, such as succession of officers, would be made explicit by approval of these changes.  As per the requirements, these proposed changes are publically viewable on the Internet at http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=df342qvq_27f7p9zmc2. In case you wish to perform a comparison, our current constitution and by-laws are available on our website.
